Civil Defense in Gaza: Our teams lack heavy equipment & have no means to recover martyrs
[Wed, 19 Mar 2025 21:58:46 +0300]

Gaza – Saba:

The Palestinian Civil Defense announced on Wednesday that its teams are unable to reach a number of martyrs trapped under the rubble in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, due to a lack of necessary resources.

In a press statement, the Civil Defense explained that its teams were suffering from a shortage of heavy equipment needed to remove the rubble.

The Government Media Office stated last February that "the Gaza Strip needs more than 500 pieces of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, cranes, and others."

The Zionist enemy government has resumed its genocidal war against the Gaza Strip, intensifying since dawn on Tuesday with sudden and violent airstrikes that targeted most areas of the Gaza Strip.

The airstrikes targeted civilians during the pre-dawn meal (Suhoor), resulting in the martyrdom of more than 460 people so far, with dozens still missing.

Meanwhile, the vast majority of Gaza's population is living in catastrophic conditions due to the closure of crossings and the prevention of food, medicine, and fuel supplies since the beginning of March.
