The government media office in Gaza has announced that the death toll from the Zionist aggression on Gaza has risen to 591 over the past 72 hours.
In a press statement, the government media office explained that since dawn on Tuesday, the Zionist enemy army has committed dozens of massacres in various areas of the Gaza Strip, through violent aerial bombardment that directly and without warning targeted civilian homes. This resulted in the martyrdom of 591 Palestinians and the injury of 1,042 others who managed to reach hospitals.
The statement pointed out that an unknown number of victims remain under the rubble, as rescue teams are unable to retrieve them due to the lack of fuel and the paralysis of civil defense equipment.
It pointed out that statistics show that the percentage of martyrs among children, women, and the elderly exceeded 70% of the total number of victims killed during this period, confirming that the occupation continues its direct targeting of civilians as part of a systematic crime of genocide. He added that this brutal aggression reflects the Zionist enemy's premeditated intention to complete the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, amid American support and shameful international silence.
The statement condemned in the strongest terms the Zionist enemy's continued perpetration of massacres against defenseless civilians, calling on the world's nations and human rights organizations to condemn these crimes and take immediate action to prevent their continuation. He also called on free peoples to take part in widespread protests to reject this brutal aggression.
It held the Zionist enemy and the US administration fully responsible for the continued mass killing and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people. He affirm that this aggression will not intimidate us or break our steadfastness.
The Government Media Office called on the international community, human rights organizations, and the United Nations to take urgent action to stop these brutal massacres and pressure the criminal Zionist enemy to open the crossings immediately and allow the entry of medical and humanitarian aid to save what remains of life in the Gaza Strip.
