London - Saba:
Britain has demanded an investigation into the Israeli bombing of a UN headquarters in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the death of a foreign employee and the injury of five others.
In a post on the X platform last night, British Foreign Secretary David Lamy expressed his deep shock at the targeting of a UN headquarters in Gaza.
He said the incident must be investigated with full transparency, those responsible held accountable, and the UN and humanitarian workers protected.
The head of the UN Office for Project Services, Jorge Moreira da Silva, announced yesterday that a UN employee was killed and five others were injured in an airstrike on Gaza, as the Israeli army continues its relentless raids.
