Gaza - Saba:
The Government Press Office warned that the Gaza Strip has entered a dangerous phase as a result of the Zionist enemy's blockade, the closure of crossings, and the prevention of the entry of aid and fuel, coinciding with the ongoing genocide and ethnic cleansing.
In a statement on Monday, the Government Press Office confirmed that the enemy continues to commit "systematic crimes" daily against more than 2.4 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
It explained that the enemy is committing brutal aggression against Gaza's civilians. "Through policies of closing crossings, starvation, thirst, and slow annihilation, in blatant disregard for all international and humanitarian laws."
The statement indicated that the enemy continues its crime of closing crossings and preventing the entry of essential humanitarian supplies into the Gaza Strip for the 23rd consecutive day.
"The occupation has prevented the entry of 600 aid trucks daily, in addition to 50 fuel trucks, which has led to a stifling humanitarian disaster in various vital sectors, especially health and service sectors."
The Office warned that the enemy is persisting in imposing a policy of forced starvation on the people of the Gaza Strip, which has led to the spread of malnutrition, especially among children, and the closure of dozens of bakeries due to the lack of cooking gas and the near complete depletion of flour.
According to the same source, enemy forces have destroyed more than 700 water wells, exacerbating the water crisis and increasing rates of diseases associated with water contamination.
"The enemy deliberately prevented the entry of essential medicines and treatments, in addition to blocking the arrival of medical supplies and spare parts for hospital generators, and preventing the entry of hundreds of surgeons and medical delegations," he added.
He pointed out that the ban on the entry of cooking gas and diesel has led to the closure of dozens of bakeries and the halting of the transportation sector, "which has increased the suffering of our Palestinian people. Hospitals, ambulances, and civil defense vehicles are now at risk of a complete shutdown."
The office explained that the economic and living crisis has worsened due to the decline in municipal performance, the shutdown of many factories and small facilities, and the cessation of water pumps, "which threatens the lives of citizens with thirst and deteriorating health conditions."
"The enemy's cutting off of electricity to the desalination plant in Deir al-Balah has halted the supply of 20,000 cups of water per day to the central and Khan Younis governorates, which threatens to exacerbate the thirst crisis and increase the spread of infectious and skin diseases," it added.
The Office condemned the enemy's continued perpetration of genocide, ethnic cleansing, and various other crimes. It held the enemy and the US administration fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against civilians.
It called on all countries of the world to pressure the enemy to stop its crimes, open the crossings, and allow the entry of aid "immediately before it is too late."
"The enemy's continued perpetration of all these crimes constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and war crimes that require urgent intervention from the international community."
The Office called on the international community, the United Nations, human rights organizations, and humanitarian organizations to take immediate action and pressure the enemy to open the crossings, allow the entry of aid and fuel, and halt the criminal Zionist policies.
