Sana'a - Saba:
The local authority in Jehana district, in partnership with the General Mobilization Forces, on Monday held a central evening to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali, under the slogan "I have won, by the Lord of the Kaaba."
Aziz al-Rajali, head of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Sector in the governorate, emphasized the significance of the occasion for embodying "true faith." He urged attendees to participate in summer courses and the upcoming World Quds Day events.
Sheikh Taha al-Hadhri, Secretary-General of the Yemeni Scholars Association, and other scholars, Sheikh Fouad Naji and Sheikh Khaled Musa, highlighted Imam Ali's virtues and his lifelong struggle against "disbelief, polytheism, and hypocrisy." They encouraged attendees to utilize the remaining days of Ramadan for good deeds and compassion, and to express solidarity with the oppressed.
They described Imam Ali's martyrdom as a "painful event" and a "critical turning point" for Islam, with lasting repercussions.
The speakers stressed the importance of active participation in World Quds Day, particularly in light of the ongoing "aggression" against Gaza and other Palestinian territories, supported by the United States. They emphasized the need to raise awareness about the "Jewish danger," as warned in Islamic texts.
The scholars asserted that the "crimes committed by the Zionist Jews" in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria demonstrate the threat they pose to Islam. They praised the Yemeni position as a "correct and courageous faith-based position" in support of the Palestinian people.
