Doha - SABA:
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation's announcement of establishing an agency aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians from the Gaza Strip, as well as its approval of 13 illegal settlement outposts in the West Bank—a step toward legalizing them as colonial settlements.
In a statement issued Monday evening, the ministry declared:
- "The forced displacement of Palestinians in any form constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law."
- "The expansion of settlements demonstrates a disregard for international legitimacy, particularly UN Security Council Resolution 2334."
Qatar emphasized the urgent need for the international community to stand firmly in solidarity to compel the occupation to:
1. Comply with the demands of peace.
2. Immediately end the brutal war on Gaza.
The ministry reaffirmed Qatar’s unwavering and permanent stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people.
