Sana’a – SABA:
The President of the Al-Quds Studies Center at a Malaysian university, Aminu Rashidi, commended the convening of the Third International Conference: "Palestine, the Central Cause of the Nation" in Sana’a, which brought together Yemen’s free people, global activists, and supporters of freedom.
In his closing speech at the conference, he stated:
"We are proud to stand with you in Yemen, renewing our commitment to saving Gaza, liberating Palestine, and rescuing the world from criminals and oppressors."
He expressed deep appreciation for the generous hospitality and warm reception he received in Yemen, but even more so for the courage of Yemenis, which he described as inspiring and unifying in the fight against Zionist brutality and American fascism, and their collaborators.
Rashidi regarded the conference as an opportunity to explore ways to counter Zionist and American atrocities targeting civilians in both Palestine and Yemen. He questioned:
"How can we claim to stand for peace while remaining silent in the face of such crimes? Enough is enough. We must unite—individuals, organizations, leaders, and nations—to save the world from the real terrorists who will never allow us to live in peace and are determined to destroy it."
He urged an end to any cooperation with the Zionist regime and called for stopping all forms of support for their crimes against Palestinians, stressing that standing with Palestine is a shared responsibility that falls upon everyone.
He added:
"We must make this Ramadan the best Ramadan by strengthening our commitment—refusing to remain silent, refusing to collaborate with criminal American and Zionist aggressors, and staying true to our faith and principles in defending our Palestinian brothers and sisters."
Rashidi further emphasized that hosting the conference in Yemen represents an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the free people of the Muslim world.
He concluded his speech with a powerful message:
"We will never surrender, we will never bow down. To our brothers in Gaza and Yemen: You are not alone—we stand with you and support you so that humanity and Islam may prevail."
