Lebanese journalist Ali Al-Rida Sbeiti affirmed that the Zionist enemy and the forces of global arrogance supporting it have attempted to break the will of the nation. However, they were met with the wall of steadfastness built by the resistance, whose great men and heroic fighters have etched history with their pure blood, crafting an epic of dignity and sacrifice for the entire nation.
In his speech after the Third International Conference: "Palestine, the Central Cause of the Nation," Sbeiti declared:
"From the heart of revolutionary Yemen, from Sana’a— which has never compromised on the nation’s causes— we stand today to proclaim loudly: Palestine is our cause, Al-Quds is our compass, and resistance is our choice until liberation."
He praised the heroic fighters of the resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen, who have turned their bodies into bridges toward victory, mentioning in particular:
- Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, "the martyr leader," Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, Abdul Aziz al-Rantisi, Fathi Shaqaqi, Imad Mughniyeh, Mohammed Deif, and all the great leaders and fighters who have carried the banner of jihad and marched on the path of liberation.
Sbeiti emphasized that the relationship between Yemen and Lebanon, and between Gaza and South Lebanon, is not just one of support and solidarity but rather a strategic alliance of the free against the tyrants, bound by a shared stance against imperialism, a shared bloodline of martyrs, and a common destiny.
He added:
"The enemy sought to isolate the resistance, but Yemen and the free people of the nation responded: Palestine is not alone, Gaza is not alone, and Jerusalem remains a sacred trust upon the shoulders of the free until the day of victory and liberation."
Sbeiti affirmed that the blood spilled in Palestine, Lebanon, and Yemen is one blood, shed in the same battle, against the same enemy.
He called for the conference to serve as a platform for supporting the resistance, concluding with a unified message:
"Let our voices be one: Palestine is the central cause of the nation, Jerusalem will be the capital of Palestine, and resistance is the only path to liberation."
