Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Defense Ministry accused Ukraine on Wednesday of continuing to attack Russian civilian energy facilities in an attempt to derail the agreement on interim measures to resolve the conflict.
In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry said, "Despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's public statement accepting the Russian-US agreements reached in Riyadh on March 24 to halt attacks on civilian energy facilities, Ukraine continues to attack Russia's energy infrastructure."
It added that air defense systems recently shot down two Ukrainian attack drones, the targets of which were ground equipment at the Glebovsky underground gas storage facility.
Russia accused Kyiv of destroying Russia's civilian energy infrastructure with the aim of disrupting the Russian-US agreements reached on interim measures to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
