Al-Hodeida Governor Abdullah Atifi and First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri inaugurated the Eid Clothing Exhibition for needy children in Al-Mina directorate in the city square as part of humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of poor families.
The exhibition targets 2,000 boys and girls from poor and needy families, funded by the General Authority for Zakat and Philanthropists, and implemented by the Ithar Al-Khair Social Development Foundation.
For his part, Al-Bishri considered Eid clothing project a model of humanitarian work. He praised the efforts of all parties involved in organizing and supporting the exhibition.
Mohammed Halisi, Undersecretary for Services Affairs, explained that this exhibition promotes solidarity among the members of the community. He called for redoubling efforts to ensure that the largest number of needy families benefit.
For his part, Undersecretary of the City Square, Ali Kabari, praised the role of the Zakat Commission, the Zakat Office and the Ithar Foundation in implementing humanitarian projects. He emphasized the need to strengthen the partnership to support needy families.
For his part, the Zakat Commission's office' director in the province, Mohammed Hazza'a, said that organizing Eid clothing exhibition is part of the commission's programs to support deserving groups. He explained that this exhibition comes within the framework of activities and projects targeting the various districts of the province.
The head of the Ithar Al-Khair Foundation, Imad Maiyad, explained that the exhibition comes within the charitable programs implemented by the foundation in cooperation with the Zakat Commission.
