Hodeida - Saba:
The first mango collection and export center in Hodeida province was inaugurated on Wednesday in al Sa'id area of Bayt al Faqih district.
The center, established in collaboration with Bayt al-Faqih Multipurpose Cooperative Society, has already shipped its first export to the Sultanate of Oman.
Engineer Hilal al-Jashari, Value Chain Officer, emphasized the center's significance in enhancing local mango production and pledged the support of relevant authorities.
Al-Jashari also encouraged stronger partnerships between farmers and private sector investors through the cooperative society.
Center Director Fawaz al Sharafi explained the center's operations, which include sorting, packaging, and preparing mangoes for transport and storage according to international quality standards. The inauguration was attended by local leaders and farmers.
