The Youth and Sports Office in Sana'a province has convened a meeting to discuss the organization of sports and youth activities for students participating in summer courses.
The meeting, attended by key officials including the Director of the Youth and Sports Office, Abdulmohsen al-Sharif, and his deputy, Abdullah al-Naseef, focused on planning and implementing a diverse range of activities for summer course attendees.
Participants emphasized the importance of creating engaging and enriching programs that nurture students' talents and enhance their athletic and youth capabilities.
The meeting resulted in the approval of several initiatives, including:
Various cultural competitions designed to develop students' skills.
Formation of working committees and scheduling of tournaments at district, sector, and province levels.
Al-Sharif explained that a large-scale sports and cultural tournament will be organized, involving 148 sports teams from 38 model schools across the governorate's districts. The tournament will feature a league format at the district level, followed by sector-level competitions, culminating in a governorate-wide championship.
He underscored the province leadership's commitment to supporting sports and youth activities for summer course students and acknowledged the contributions of the Higher Committee for Summer Activities and Courses and the youth unit in mobilizing resources.
