On Tuesday evening, a group of Zionist settler groups stormed the Arab al-Malihat community, northwest of Jericho, in the southern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Information Center quoted Hassan Malihat, the general supervisor of the Al-Baydar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages, as saying: "A number of masked Zionist settlers, riding their horses, stormed the Arab al-Malihat community northwest of Jericho and searched the sheep pens of some Palestinian citizens."
He pointed out that this was the second attack of the day, preceded by an attempt to run over teacher Reem Thabet, a teacher at the Arab al-Kaabneh Elementary School in al-Mu'arrajat.
During 2024, Zionist settlers carried out 2,971 violations against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank, resulting in the deaths of ten Palestinians and the destruction of more than 14,000 trees, according to data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
Coinciding with the start of the war of extermination on Gaza, the Zionist enemy army and its settlers expanded their attacks in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, resulting in the deaths of more than 947 Palestinians, the injury of approximately 7,000 others, and the arrest of 14,000. And 300 others, according to official Palestinian data.
