Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning forecasts varying intensity rainfall across parts of several governorates, and hot weather in the Tihama Plain and desert areas over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that varying intensity rainfall, some heavy and sometimes accompanied by thunder, is expected in parts of the governorates of Taiz, Ibb, Dhamar, Raymah, and Sana'a.
Scattered rain is also expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, and Al Bayda.
According to the center, hot weather is likely in the Tihama Plain and desert areas, with maximum temperatures ranging between 34 and 39 degrees Celsius.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines, advising against crossing them or staying in their channels. It also warned citizens of lightning, urging them to take the necessary measures to avoid them to protect lives and property.
It also warned of poor visibility due to rain, low clouds, and fog, and of strong winds descending from cumulus clouds and hail.
The center warned residents of desert areas and the Tihama Plain of the hot weather and advised them to avoid direct sunlight during the afternoon.
