Head of the Customs Authority Eng. Adel Margham on Saturday discussed with Head of the National Documentation Center Abdullah al-Sayani aspects of joint cooperation in organizing documents and modernizing the customs archiving system.
During the meeting, Margham emphasized the Customs Authority's keenness to benefit from the expertise of the National Documentation Center in developing a systematic working mechanism that contributes to the organized documentation of customs data, serves work requirements, and enhances the efficiency of institutional performance.
He pointed out that developing the archiving system has become a necessity to facilitate access to information and ensure that documents are preserved in a manner that keeps pace with administrative and technical developments.
For his part, al-Sayani reiterated the Center's readiness to fully cooperate with the Customs Authority and provide technical support to establish an integrated documentation database that serves the nature of customs work.
The meeting concluded by emphasizing the importance of forming a joint committee from both parties to assess the current status of documents and archives at the Authority and develop appropriate visions and solutions to address existing difficulties.
