Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research for the Higher Education Sector Dr. Ibrahim Luqman on Saturday inspected the ongoing General Secondary Certificate examinations at several centers in Hamdan district in Sana'a province.
Accompanied by member of the Hamdan District Examinations Subcommittee Sadiq Hazam, Dr. Luqman reviewed the level of discipline and organization in the examination process at the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, al-Hassan al-Hamdani, and al-Miqdad bin Amr Centers. These centers accommodate students from a total of 16 public and private schools.
During his visit, Undersecretary expressed his satisfaction with the centers' preparedness and their adherence to the ministerial plan established by the Higher Committee for Examinations.
He also commended the dedication of educational personnel, including observers, supervisors, and educational cadres in both the governorate and district, for their role in creating a conducive and well-organized environment for students to take their exams.
Dr. Luqman emphasized the Ministry's commitment to supporting the examination process, fostering collaboration, and taking responsibility for the success of both the basic and secondary general certificate exams, viewing it as a national duty to counter the challenges posed by the ongoing conflict and thwart attempts to disrupt the educational system.
He urged the students to approach their exams with seriousness, perseverance, focus, and careful consideration of their answers, enabling them to achieve their desired academic excellence.
Sadiq Hazam, representing the subcommittee at the Directorate, highlighted that the Undersecretary's visit reflects the Ministry leadership's commitment and diligent monitoring of the examination process. He emphasized continuous supervision and coordination with relevant educational and security agencies to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the exams.
