Thousands of people took to the streets of Geneva, Switzerland, in a march in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in condemnation of the war of genocide perpetrated by the Israeli enemy for 18 months in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian WAFA News Agency, thousands gathered at Place De Neuve and marched through the streets of Geneva to protest the ongoing genocide.
The protesters raised the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans in French, English, and Arabic, including "Freedom for Palestine," "Israel is a criminal," and "Stop the genocide in Gaza."
They demanded the release of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons and condemned the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Syria.
They also criticized the war criminal Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his policies and held up banners bearing messages of support for Palestine.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of 50,933 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and the injury of 116,450 others. This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
