The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, the destruction of its air defense media, 52 Ukrainian aircraft, over several Russian provinces, the Breansk Province had the lion's share of it.
"During the last night, the operational defense systems intercepted and destroyed 52 Ukrainian drones," Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement.
The statement added that: “33 marches were destroyed over the lands of the Breansk Province, and ten over the lands of Oriol Province, and three marches were destroyed over the lands of both the Cursk and Tula provinces, two over the lands of Kaluga Province and one over the lands of Bilgorod Province.
The Ukrainian armed forces target almost daily, the Russian border areas in Crimea, Bilgorod provinces, Bransk, Korsk and Fournege, with drones and missiles.
In turn, the Russian forces continue to carry out their own military operation, with the aim of disarming Ukraine, eliminating threats to Russia's security, and protecting civilians in the region of Donbas.
