The Joint Coordination Unit (JCU) of regulatory agencies and public prosecution held a meeting today under the chairmanship of Acting Head of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission (SNACC), Raydan Al-Mutawakel, the head of the JCU.
The meeting, attended by the members of the unit, Attorney General of Public Funds Prosecutions, Judge Ali Al-Mutawakel, member of the Supreme Authority for Tender Control, Amin Al-Jund, and the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Finance Mohammed Amer and Civil Service and Administrative Development, Dr. Abdullah Haider, discussed the report submitted regarding the shipment of adulterated gasoline and the measures taken by the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission, Attorney General of Public Funds Prosecutions, Security and Intelligence Service, and Public Funds Investigation.
The meeting decided that the Joint Coordination Unit will be in a state of continuous follow-up until the completion of the investigation procedures and the resulting damage to the vehicles of many citizens.
The meeting mandated the sub-coordination unit to coordinate with the Public Funds Prosecution specialized in corruption cases to complete the procedures and report the results.
