The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Abdul Rahman Shadid, considered the storming of the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron by the extremist minister of the Zionist enemy government, Itamar Ben-Gvir, as an additional and dangerous escalation against Islamic sanctuaries.
In a press statement on Tuesday, Shadid emphasized that the incitement of enemy leaders and his desecration of the holy sites is part of the escalating war of extermination against the Palestinians and their holy sites, calling for an escalation of resistance and thwarting the enemy's settlement plans.
He pointed out that the enemy authorities take advantage of the Jewish holidays and seasons to increase their attacks and implement settlement plans, with the support of the right-wing enemy government.
Shadid stressed the importance of protecting Islamic holy sites in the West Bank and occupied Quds, and mobilizing people to continue resistance and respond to the crimes of the enemy and settlers.
On Tuesday, dozens of settlers, including extremist minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, stormed the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank.
