New York - Saba:
Starting on the 28th of this month, the International Court of Justice will hold public hearings on Israel's obligations regarding the UN presence in occupied Palestine.
The court stated that 44 states and four international organizations have expressed their intention to participate in the oral arguments before the court, which is sitting at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the seat of the court.
Last December, the UN General Assembly requested the International Court of Justice to issue an advisory opinion on Israel's obligations regarding the presence and activities of the United Nations, other international organizations, and third states in and relating to the occupied Palestinian territories.
