Tulkarm - Saba:

Israeli enemy forces on Monday continued their escalating aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 79th consecutive day, and on the Nour Shams camp for the 66th day, amid ongoing field escalation, military reinforcements, raids, and arrests.

The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that Israeli enemy forces arrested a Palestinian young man at dawn today after raiding his home in the southern neighborhood of the city, while arresting another citizen after storming the Ezbet al-Tayah suburb, southeast of Tulkarm.

Last night, Israeli enemy forces arrested a number of young men during a raid on the Dhnaba suburb and the Nour Shams camp, assaulting and abusing them before later releasing them and transferring them to the hospital for necessary examinations.

The WAFA news agency reported that Israeli forces dispatched large infantry reinforcements to the city and its two camps from the Nitzani Oz gate to the west. They deployed along the main streets and neighborhoods, obstructing the movement of vehicles and civilians, subjecting them to searches and harassment.

The report added that these forces headed toward the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, as well as Dhenaba and Harat al-Salam, amid extensive combing and searches, and heavy gunfire and flares were fired. This coincided with the widespread deployment of military vehicles throughout the city's streets and camps.

Israeli forces have recently escalated their forced displacement campaigns against residents of the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, Nablus Street, and the traffic circle in the northern neighborhood of the city. They forced residents, after threats and intimidation, to evacuate their homes and gave them a short period of time to collect their belongings. They then turned the homes into military barracks.

Meanwhile, Nablus Road, which connects the Tulkarm and Nour Shams refugee camps, has witnessed a heavy deployment of Israeli military vehicles, restricting Palestinian citizens and obstructing their movement on the road. Sections of the road have been closed off with earth mounds in both directions. Checkpoints are erected along the road, preventing vehicles from passing.

The Dhanaba suburb, east of the city, also witnesses a daily and intensive presence of infantry units, particularly near the Attar platforms and the vicinity of Al-Firdaws Mosque. Flying checkpoints are set up, vehicles are stopped and searched thoroughly, passengers' IDs are checked, and in many cases, vehicles are forced to turn back.

The ongoing Israeli aggression and escalation on the city of Tulkarm and its two camps have resulted in the deaths of 13 Palestinian citizens, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been injured and arrested.

It also caused the forced displacement of more than 4,000 families from the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, along with hundreds of families from the northern neighborhood of the city after their homes were seized and a number of them converted into military barracks.

The aggression caused extensive destruction to infrastructure, including homes, shops, and vehicles, which were completely and partially demolished, burned, vandalized, looted, and stolen. 396 homes were completely destroyed and 2,573 partially destroyed in the Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, in addition to blocking their entrances and alleys with earth mounds.
