Nablus - Saba:
Hundreds of Israeli settlers stormed the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus, on Monday.
Sebastia Mayor Mohammed Azem told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that hundreds of settlers, led by Yossi Dagan, head of the Northern West Bank Settlement Council, stormed the town's archaeological site under heavy Israeli army protection.
He added that Israeli forces forced shop owners to close their doors, closed all entrances to the archaeological site, and prevented citizens from entering. Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers are deployed throughout the town.
Settlers also uprooted about 50 olive trees in the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit.
