Gaza - Saba:

Hamas has issued an urgent appeal to the Arab and Islamic nations, and all free people of the world, to actively participate in a global week entitled "Gaza calls out to you for help."

In a statement on the appeal, Hamas said on Tuesday that the barbaric Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip continues, accompanied by an escalation of brutal massacres against innocent civilians, with full American support and a disturbing international silence.

Hamas called for mobilizing all energies and means during the coming week to support Gaza's steadfastness, condemn the aggression, and demand an end to the war of genocide.

It stressed the need to escalate all forms of solidarity action, including marches, sit-ins, and angry protests in capitals, cities, and squares around the world.

Hamas called for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (April 18-19-20) to be designated as "days of global rage" against the occupation and to reject American support and the complicity of the international community.

It continued: "We in the Hamas movement value and support the global popular and union calls, and we encourage a response to them by designating Tuesday (April 22) as a global day of student and union strikes in various universities, educational, and union institutions around the world, in support of Gaza and the steadfastness of its besieged people."

The statement read: "The cries of children, the groans of the wounded and sick, and the groans of the hungry and displaced call out to living consciences and hold everyone responsible for the humanitarian and historical responsibility of participating in this global week and breaking the shameful silence until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted."
