Hundreds of Zionist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces, on the fourth day of the Jewish Passover holiday.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) quoted Quds Governorate as saying that hundreds of settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa compound in successive groups from the Mughrabi Gate and performed Talmudic rituals.
Israeli occupation forces imposed strict security measures, transforming the mosque and its surroundings into a military barracks, preventing many Palestinian citizens from entering, and confiscating their ID cards at the external gates.
On Tuesday, Al-Aqsa Mosque witnessed a large-scale raid, involving more than 1,220 settlers, during which rituals were performed.
The extremist group "Temple Mount in Our Hands" launched promotional campaigns to encourage Zionist settlers to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque. These campaigns included providing transportation at reduced prices and organizing free tours, as part of what it called "central raid days" during the Passover holiday.
