The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights announced that Israeli enemy forces have killed at least 71 civilians in Lebanon since the ceasefire came into effect on November 27 of last year.
Office spokesperson Thameen Al-Khitan explained in a statement last night that the victims included 14 women and nine children, and that more than 92,000 people remain displaced.
Al-Khitan said: "Israeli airstrikes hit a newly constructed medical center in Naqoura, completely destroying the center and damaging two ambulances." He noted that Israeli airstrikes have targeted several other towns in southern Lebanon this month, resulting in the deaths of at least six Lebanese citizens.
