A number of wounded children arrived in Malta with their families from Gaza Strip, to receive medical treatment at Malta State Hospital.
Maltese Prime Minister Robert Abela expressed his deep regret for targeting innocent civilians and his sadness for the children's injuries, expressing his readiness to provide the necessary assistance, treatment and education for them during their stay in Malta, according to Quds Press Agency.
He emphasized Malta's unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, its solidarity with the Palestinian people, the continuation of providing the necessary assistance to them, and its continued efforts in international forums to stop the ceasefire in Gaza Strip.
The children's parents shared with the Prime Minister their stories of suffering as a result of the Zionist aggression, the fear they experienced, their displacement from one place to another, the bombing of their tents, the severe injury of their children, and the loss of many of their family members.
