Sana'a - Saba:

Yemeni media professional and digital activist Majed al-Harazi has been awarded the "Best Tourism Page" on Facebook at the 17th Arab Tourism Media Forum held in Cairo from April 14-17, 2025.

Al-Harazi's page was recognized by a specialized committee for its professional portrayal of tourism experiences through visual content and authentic editorial posts featuring tourist and natural sites across several Arab countries. His platform has garnered thousands of daily followers, offering a blend of information, photos, recommendations, and personal experiences.

Al-Harazi expressed that the award signifies a responsibility to further develop digital tourism content and acknowledges his years of effort. His Facebook page, initially a personal travelogue, evolved into a trusted source for Arab travelers seeking tourist destinations.

He highlighted the power of digital media in influencing tourism decisions, emphasizing the role of quality content, consistent publishing, and audience engagement in his page's success.

The forum's 17th edition focused on honoring impactful independent content creators in the Arab tourism sector. Since its inception in 2008, the Arab Union for Tourism Media has aimed to promote Arab tourist destinations and support media professionals in this field, contributing to tourism awareness and economic growth.
