Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Coordination Council of the New Russian Regions, reported that one person was killed and another injured by Ukrainian shelling with cluster munitions that targeted the center of the city of Kamenka-Dniprovskaya in Zaporozhye province.
Rogov wrote in a post on Telegram on Thursday: "Ukrainian forces targeted the center of the city of Kamenka-Dniprovskaya with artillery shelling using cluster munitions, killing one civilian and injuring another."
He noted that the city had been subjected to intense shelling by Ukrainian artillery and drones last Tuesday.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian forces regularly target Russian areas, which underscores the need for the Russian military operation in Ukraine to continue to push Kyiv's forces away from Russia's borders and the new regions.
