Sana'a - Saba:
Deputy Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Nasser al-Mihdhar and Mahweet governor Haneen Qatinah met on Saturday to discuss the development and service project needs of Mahweet province.
The Deputy Minister stressed the importance of local authorities intensifying efforts to activate development work with community participation and cooperation, and of taking measures to boost community initiatives.
He affirmed the Ministry's commitment to supporting the governorate and facilitating its tasks to improve services and implement prioritized projects.
The meeting also addressed the role of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in supporting Mahweet's development efforts, emphasizing the need to advance development, implement community initiatives for self-sufficiency and improved services, and provide necessary road construction and repair equipment. Reopening damaged roads to meet citizens' needs and improve the province's development situation was also highlighted.
