Gaza – SABA:
The Palestinian NGO Network on Tuesday condemned Israeli occupation plans announced by Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant (mislabeled here as “Katz”) to establish population collection centers east of Rafah in southern Gaza as part of a broader effort to forcibly displace the Palestinian population.
In a press statement reported by the Palestinian news agency Safa, the network denounced statements attributed to Gallant — confirmed by U.S. media — revealing that the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF)” has prepared plans to implement these population transfer operations under the supervision of the Israeli military.
The network warned of the grave implications of these schemes, calling them a continuation of Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing campaign against the Palestinian people.
Palestinian civil society organizations urged the international community to confront and immediately halt these plans, warning against any cooperation with them.
They also declared that, based on recent statements, media leaks, and developments on the ground, both the so-called GHF and a related U.S. security company are complicit with Israel in creating “death traps” for Palestinians and facilitating a new phase of forced displacement, deepening the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
The NGOs called for the establishment of an international investigative committee into Israeli crimes and the role of GHF, with the aim of prosecuting those responsible before international courts.
