Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Israeli Enemy army confirmed on Tuesday the death of five soldiers and the injury of 14 others, including two in critical condition, following a Palestinian resistance ambush in Beit Hanoun, northern Gaza, last night.
According to Israeli Enemy army radio, the soldiers—part of the "Netzah Yehuda" battalion—were caught in a roadside bomb attack. Two explosive devices were detonated in succession as the unit passed, causing heavy casualties.
The ambush continued as gunmen targeted soldiers during the evacuation of the wounded. Initial army investigations revealed the incident occurred around 10 p.m. Monday near the border in an area previously used for Israeli military operations.
The ambush took place in a zone frequently raided since the start of Israel’s offensive on Gaza in October 2023. Sirens reportedly sounded twice in nearby areas following the attack.
