The Hajjah Security Directorate organized a speech event to mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zaid bin Ali (peace be upon him), under the slogan "By God, the Book of Allah does not permit me to remain silent."
During the event, Hajjah Security Director Brigadier General Hassan Al-Qasimi emphasized that the circumstances surrounding Imam Zaid’s martyrdom closely resemble the current challenges facing the Muslim nation—including deviation, corruption, and alliances with forces of disbelief and arrogance.
Al-Qasimi stressed that Imam Zaid took action out of religious responsibility after witnessing the nation’s deviation from the righteous path, condemning the Umayyad dynasty’s distortion of religious principles and their attacks on sacred values. He highlighted the importance of commemorating this anniversary to understand the nation’s bitter reality, drawing parallels between Imam Zaid’s stance and current events, particularly the ongoing atrocities in Gaza.
He affirmed that the movement of the Yemeni people under wise leadership extends Imam Zaid’s legacy of supporting the oppressed and confronting tyranny.
