Jenin – Saba:
Israeli enemy forces on Thursday demolished three homes in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the demolished homes belonged to the families of martyrs Wael Idris Lahlouh, Mohammad Nazzal, and Mohammad Zakarneh.
Martyr Wael Idris was assassinated by Israeli forces on December 1, 2024, in an airstrike targeting a farming room he was in, in the town of Seer, south of Jenin. Martyr Mohammad Nazzal was killed on January 22, 2025, after Israeli forces besieged a house in Burqin, west of Jenin, bombed it with shoulder-fired missiles, and then demolished it with bulldozers. Martyr Mohammad Zakarneh was assassinated after being surrounded in an underground metal room near the village of Misilyah, south of Jenin.
Early this morning, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya with a large number of military vehicles and bulldozers. They stormed several homes, forced residents out, and turned them into military posts. Soldiers detained and assaulted several young men and arrested two brothers after raiding and vandalizing their home. One youth was severely beaten.
It is worth noting that the Israeli military had issued demolition orders to the three families on June 20.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented that in the first half of this year alone, Israeli authorities demolished 588 structures, affecting 843 Palestinian citizens, including 411 children.
