The second workshop for implementing the Agricultural Land Reclamation and Empowerment Project was held in Al-Hudaydah governorate organized jointly by the Land Authority local government and Agricultural Cooperatives Union.
The workshop targeted representatives from various districts focusing on methods to invest state lands agriculturally through cooperatives to achieve sustainable agricultural development.
Officials stressed the importance of empowering cooperatives and farmers facilitating procedures and enhancing local production to achieve self-sufficiency and support the national economy.
Mechanisms for submitting agricultural land use requests and their criteria were reviewed with emphasis on coordination between relevant parties to ensure project success despite aggression and siege conditions.
The workshop concluded with a presentation on agricultural value chains and their role in increasing crop value addition
