Ma’ta: Sharp spike in Israeli violations in Occupied WB, al-Quds during July

Ramallah – Saba:

The Palestinian Information Center "Ma’ta" reported a significant surge in Israeli occupation violations across the occupied West Bank and al-Quds during July — the highest recorded escalation since the start of the year.

In its monthly report, released Monday, the center documented 6,685 violations committed by Israeli forces in July alone, amid ongoing international silence.

According to the report, July saw the killing of 26 Palestinians, the injury of 191 others, the arrest of 762 citizens, and the storming of 1,361 locations. Additionally, Israeli enemy forces set up 880 military checkpoints and carried out 1,242 raids.

On the ground, Israeli occupation authorities demolished 163 homes, destroyed 310 properties, and confiscated 235 others.

The report also recorded 518 settler attacks and 74 settlement-related activities, highlighting ongoing Israeli policies of forced displacement and territorial expansion.

Furthermore, the center noted 407 area or road closures, 319 shooting incidents by Israeli forces, and 32 violations targeting Islamic and Christian holy sites, alongside five forced expulsion orders from occupied Jerusalem.

Humanitarian and media workers were not spared, with eight attacks on medical crews, five on journalists, and four violations against the educational sector.

Ma’ta emphasized that these figures reflect an escalating, systematic pattern of daily violence and oppression — reinforced by U.S. complicity and Western and international indifference, under a policy of total impunity.
