Hodeidah - Saba:
The Education Sector in Al Mina District, Al Hideidah Governorate, launched on Saturday the celebrations commemorating the blessed Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) for the year 1447 AH.
During the event, the Governorate’s Deputy for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, emphasized that the Prophet’s Birthday is a great occasion that renews loyalty to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and reinforces the values of guidance and mercy he brought. He noted that this anniversary revives in hearts the meanings of pride and dignity.
Halisi explained that celebrating this occasion is not merely a religious ritual but an act of faith and civilization, reflecting the Yemeni people’s connection to their noble Prophet and their pride in their faith-based identity, which distinguishes them among nations. He stressed that recalling the Prophet’s biography empowers the nation to face challenges.
Halisi described the Mawlid celebrations as a message of resilience against enemies and a renewal of the pledge to follow the path of the Great Prophet (PBUH) in supporting truth and confronting injustice. He highlighted that the people of Al Hodeidah, especially educators, set the finest examples of loyalty and adherence to prophetic values.
The Deputy Governor pointed out that this year’s Mawlid comes as Yemen continues its battle to defend its land and dignity, alongside its steadfast stance in supporting the Palestinian people and confronting Zionist arrogance. He affirmed that the younger generations’ adherence to the Muhammadan path ensures the nation’s enduring strength and honor.
