SANAA, Sep. 2 (Saba) - The leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a meeting to assess foreign policy since the beginning of the aggression and the political siege imposed on it.
In the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Hisham Sharaf indicated the importance of studying and identifying the positives and negatives in the work and movements of the ministry during the last period.
He stressed the importance of the meeting to make an objective assessment of the performance of foreign policy and what had been done to ensure that the grievance of the Yemeni people reached the world as a result of the aggression and blockade that had led to the worst humanitarian disaster situation known to the world and the accompanying crimes and violations amounting to war crimes.
Minister Sharaf pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is Yemen's window to the outside world, pointing out that the ministry is doing its best to show the world the truth of the blatant aggression and its hidden agendas.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic staff took responsibility courageously in the face of aggression, while at the same time working to prepare for a just and honorable peace for the Yemeni people.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Hussein al-Ezzi touched on the national tasks undertaken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in facing aggression and exposing violations and crimes committed by the Aggression Coalition in all international and regional forums.
He pointed out that the situation and the political climate in the world changed a lot from what it was at the start of the aggression, with the loudest voices calling for an end to the military aggression and the lifting of the comprehensive siege.

During the meeting, constructive discussion and dialogue took place to develop a mechanism to raise the performance of the national diplomatic cadre in line with the directives of the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government.
