Sana'a - Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast sea roughness due to strong winds, with scattered rain of varying intensity expected across parts of several governorates over the next 24 hours.
According to the center's weather bulletin, strong to very strong winds are expected over the Socotra Archipelago and strong winds over the Gulf of Aden and the eastern and southern coasts, leading to sea roughness.
Scattered rain of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is likely over parts of the governorates of Saada, Mahwit, Hajjah, Amran, western Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Dhale'a, Taiz, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, Shabwah, and Hadramaut.
Yesterday, scattered rain fell over parts of the western highlands and interior plateaus, outside the scope of meteorological stations.
The center warned seagoers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts. It also warned citizens in areas expected to experience thunderstorms and to avoid being in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall.
