Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting held in Sana'a, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Local Administration, Rural Development, and Minister of State Mohammed Al-Madani, discussed on Wednesday ways to integrate economic empowerment projects into the state’s general plan for the year 1447 AH.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Mohammed Al-Kubsi.
The meeting, which included Assistant Director of the Prime Minister’s Office for Planning Sector Jarallah Fadhel, Deputy Assistant Director of the Office Ali Al-Mutamayiz, and the technical team of the Planning Sector at the Prime Minister’s Office, reviewed successful projects and experiences implemented based on value chains, including dairy projects.
Al-Madani emphasized the importance of economic empowerment projects in improving the living standards of families and society while creating numerous job opportunities.
He noted the commitment of the Government of Change and Development to adopting feasible and economically rewarding projects that meet the needs of society, contributing to self-sufficiency in various aspects.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the necessity of including developmental projects in the 1447 AH plan that focus on replacing imported products and meeting local market demands, thereby strengthening the national economy and achieving self-sufficiency.
He highlighted the importance of collective efforts and a sense of responsibility in adopting projects that translate plans into tangible outcomes—enhancing food security, reducing import costs, and ultimately achieving self-sufficiency.
Al-Madani commended the role of the Planning Sector at the Prime Minister’s Office in supporting state institutions in preparing, implementing, and monitoring the progress of their projects.
