Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against Syria, the latest of which was the enemy entity’s targeting of the Syrian capital, Damascus, earlier on Wednesday.
In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry described the Zionist aggression on Syria as a blatant violation of its sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, as well as a flagrant interference in its internal affairs, contrary to the United Nations Charter and all international norms and conventions.
The statement noted that this aggression comes as the new Syrian regime has made every possible concession to the enemy entity, sending a clear message to all Arab and Islamic nations that still believe concessions to this criminal entity could protect them from its plots and assaults.
The statement emphasized that the Zionist entity remains the true enemy lying in wait for Syria and the broader Arab and Islamic world, posing a threat to regional and global stability.
It further highlighted that the Zionist entity continues to exploit the evolving situation in Syria to destroy the Syrian people’s resources, seize more land, and advance its malicious objectives in the country.
The Ministry called on Arab and Islamic nations to take decisive, practical stances to halt the Zionist aggression against Syria , Lebanon and to end the genocide in Palestine. It stressed that the Zionist aggression on Syria must not divert attention from the daily genocidal crimes committed by the occupying Zionist entity in Gaza.
