SANA'A DECEMBER 03.2022 (Saba) - Deputy Director of the Moral Guidance Department, Brigadier General Abdullah bin Amer, revealed the Israeli and Saudi roles in trying to impede the independence of the South of the Homeland among the schemes, the expansion and occupation of the most important areas of the South of the Homeland.
During the cultural event organized by the Department of Moral Guidance on Saturday on the occasion of the celebration of 30 November on its 55th anniversary of independence in the presence of the Presidential Adviser Prof. Abdulaziz Al Tarb and a number of academics and researchers in the field of history. Saudi move in conjunction with the Israeli move was part of an attempt to create an Israeli enemy entity as its foothold at Yemen's most strategic locations from ports and sea ports in the Red Sea, Arab Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait.
The Deputy Director of Moral Guidance Department said: "The Israeli enemy was benefiting from the British occupier's presence in Aden, which was represented an advanced economic centre ".
He noted that the occupier had created a strategy after his departure to create a pro-Israel authority in the south of the homeland to control the port of Aden however, the South's national resistance failed these schemes.
He added: "The Israeli enemy entity has asked Britain to reverse withdrawal from the south of the homeland, and in the event of withdrawal, a military base is maintained in Aden, and the islands are retained, so that they are not subject to independence ".
Ben Amer continued: "The National Front delegation was surprised that the British delegate came with Kamal Adham, an adviser to King Faisal, one of the demands was that if military bases were not maintained in Aden, nor in the islands, the south of the homeland would be handed over to Saudi Arabia. "
He explained that the National Front had not complied with British demands during the independence negotiations, regarding the maintenance of military bases in Aden or in the islands, before his departure, the British occupier had raised the salaries of state employees by 300% in order to burden the first government after independence.
He confirmed that Saudi ambitions to control the provinces of Mahra and Hadramawt had begun since 1972 along with the creation of two military bases in the islands of Socotra and Myon.
"Saudi Arabia established the Salvation Army in the Sharurah area. One of its tasks is to control Hadramawt and Mahra."
He added: "What is happening today in the south of the homeland is the same plot that used to be, whether it came with a Saudi or an Emirati face in control and occupation of our country's ports, islands and most strategic sites, So the battle today is a battle of independence for Yemen, which possesses of wealth and important strategic positions features of yesterday's Raiders were prompted to return today under flimsy justification through their agents in Riyadh and Abu Dhabi ".
