SANA'A January 23.2023 (Saba) - The Supreme Judicial Council on Monday strongly condemned the burning of a copy of the Holy Quran in Sweden, stressing that this crime reflects a buried hatred and a provocation to the feelings of Muslims.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Council stated that this crime and the abuses that preceded it come in the context of insulting Islamic sanctities, with a plan from the Zionist lobby and Swedish sponsorship, which requires from all Muslim peoples and regimes a strong response and effective action against this criminal act and whoever stands behind him.
The Council called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and all free people in the world to adopt a position to prevent the recurrence of such abuses and to work to hold the perpetrators accountable and those behind them.
