Gaza - Saba:
The Associated Press revealed that about 200 Zionist soldiers signed a letter stating that they will stop fighting if the government does not secure a ceasefire.
The agency explained that the Zionist soldiers who refuse to fight in Gaza say that they have seen or done things that crossed moral lines.
The soldiers were quoted as saying, "We received orders to burn or demolish homes that did not pose any threat and we saw soldiers looting and destroying homes and we feel remorse and it took us time to absorb what we see in Gaza."
The agency quoted a former Israeli soldier: "I participated in war crimes and I regret what we did and I was instructed to shoot anyone who entered a buffer zone that we control."
According to the agency, he added: "The image of our soldiers killing an unarmed Palestinian youth is engraved in my mind."
The agency quoted an Israeli doctor who spent about two months in Gaza who said that soldiers desecrated homes and looted property to collect as souvenirs.
He confirmed that a commander of the forces ordered the burning of a house on the pretext that he did not want Hamas to use it.
