Sana'a - Saba:
The leaders of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment and its affiliated parties visited the Great Mosque in Old Sana'a in the framework of the celebration of Rajab Friday, the anniversary of the entry of Yemenis Islam.
The leaders listened to an explanation about the date of the building of the mosque, the first mosque in Yemen, and they were briefed on the activities of education and memorizing the Holy Quran, in addition to the library that includes rare manuscripts, such as the Qur’an of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib.
The leaders stressed the importance of the Great Mosque as a religious and historical location that reflects the link of the Yemenis with their faith and their appreciation to the Friday of Rajab. They stressed pride in the legacy of the ancestors and the role of the mosque as a scientific and cultural center. They praised the efforts of those responsible for maintaining his enlightening activity.
