Hodeida - Saba:
Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai and Governor of Hodeida Abdullah Ateifi on Tuesday inspected a number of agricultural activities and projects in the governorate.
The officials visited the fish export cooling and freezing center, where they were briefed on the progress of work and the mechanisms for preparing fish for export.
They also inspected the central al-Hussainiya market for selling agricultural products in the Bayt al-Faqih district, reviewing the market's operations and addressing challenges faced by market workers.
Furthermore, the Minister inspected agricultural fields utilizing pivot irrigation technology in Tihama, highlighting the importance of this technology for improving water use efficiency and enhancing agricultural productivity.
Dr. al-Rubai praised the efforts made to develop the fish sector and support sustainable agricultural development in Hodeida.
