GAZA June 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza announced on Tuesday that the Zionist enemy targeted four centers for the displaced and 11 inhabited homes in Gaza City within 48 hours.
The Civil Defense said at a press conference in Gaza on Tuesday that its crews have faced during the past 48 hours a significant increase in targeting shelters for the displaced, health clinics, humanitarian service providers as well as citizens' homes.
He pointed out that the Zionist enemy has intensified its targeting in the governorates of Gaza and the North and the camps for displaced people in Rafah. "The enemy deliberately carried out a number of targets at the same time," he said.
He pointed out that this dangerous phase of this Zionist-American aggression, which the enemy calls "Phase C", directly targets thousands of displaced Palestinians and citizens who have returned to their destroyed homes.
He warned that phase C of the Zionist-American aggression puts the Palestinians under constant threat of death. He pointed out that this matter has exacerbated the suffering of the work of civil defense crews that do not have the necessary rescue and firefighting equipment and devices to deal with this dangerous stage.
He stressed that the enemy continues to apply the genocidal methodology against entire Palestinian families, and bombs houses over the heads of their inhabitants while they are sleeping without the slightest considerations of humanity, morality or law.
The Civil Defense held the Zionist enemy responsible for its continuation of genocide against the Palestinian people, and its insistence on committing more of these crimes by pursuing the displaced in their shelters.
He called on the countries of the world and international and UN organizations to intervene urgently to bring in the necessary vehicles and equipment to save lives and property. He called on it to intervene urgently to stop the genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.
