OCCUPIED QUDS August 01. 2024 (Saba) - On Thursday morning, the Zionist enemy forces demolished five Palestinian "residential and commercial" facilities in the town of Beit Anan, northwest of the occupied city of Quds.
Local sources said that the enemy forces, accompanied by Zionist demolition mechanisms, stormed this morning the town of Beit Anan, and began to demolish a house and four shops, after imposing a military cordon on the area targeted for demolition.
According to the sources, enemy bulldozers demolished a two-story house with an area of 300 square meters, and four shops with an area of 200 square meters.
In recent months, coinciding with the ongoing war of aggression in the Gaza Strip, demolitions carried out by the Zionist enemy against residential, agricultural and commercial facilities in the West Bank have escalated.
A report by the Commission to Resist the Wall and Settlements showed that the occupation carried out 243 demolitions throughout the West Bank in the first half of this year, affecting 318 various structures, compared to the demolition of 313 structures during the whole of 2023.
