BEIRUT August 18. 2024 (Saba) - Three soldiers from the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) were slightly injured on Sunday, in an explosion near their vehicles in the vicinity of the town of Yarin, southern Lebanon.
According to the (Russia Today) website, a UNIFIL spokesman said in a statement that all peacekeeping soldiers who were on patrol returned safely to their base, noting that an investigation had begun to determine the circumstances of the incident.
He added, "We strongly remind all parties and actors of their responsibility to avoid harming peacekeeping forces and civilians."
Al Jazeera quoted a Lebanese security source as saying that UNIFIL personnel were injured in a Zionist raid that coincided with their passage in the vicinity of the town of Dahra, southern Lebanon.
The Zionist enemy aircraft launched a raid targeting the area between the towns of Tayr Harfa and Dahra, southern Lebanon.
This morning, a Zionist motorcycle march was targeted in the town of Shebaa in the Hasbaya district in southern Lebanon, resulting in the martyrdom of its rider.
