SANA'A August 24. 2024 (Saba) - Presidential Decree No. (1) of 1446 AH was issued to establish the Prime Minister's Office.

The resolution included 11 articles divided into four chapters as follows:

Chapter One: Nomenclature, Definitions and Creation.

Chapter Two: Objectives, Tasks and Main Competencies of the Office.

Chapter Three: Organizational Structure of the Office.

Chapter IV: Final Provisions.

Article XI and the last article of the decree stipulates that it shall come into force from the date of its issuance and publication in the Official Gazette.
